EleosTerms of Service
Plain terms for a small product. Read section 7 in particular — it describes what the agent can do on your machine.
1. Who you are contracting with
Eleos is provided by Quantive Bt. ("we", "us"). By installing or using it you accept these terms.

Your purchase contract is with our payment provider, not with us. Stripe acts as merchant of record: it sells the subscription to you, issues the invoice and handles tax. These terms govern your use of the software itself.
2. What Eleos is
Eleos is a desktop app for Windows, plus a web app you open on your phone. Nothing to install on the phone.
Eleos needs a subscription after the free week, on the desktop as well as the phone, and whichever model you point it at — including an open model running on your own machine. The week starts with the first message you send after signing in, and needs no card. There is one free week per account and per PC, and none on a virtual machine.
A cloud model needs your own account with that provider. We do not supply, resell or meter that access: Anthropic, OpenAI or whichever provider it is bills you, and your use is under your agreement with them. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Anthropic or any other model provider.
3. Licence
While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Eleos on up to the number of devices your plan allows.
You may not resell or sublicense it, remove or defeat the licensing mechanism, or redistribute modified copies.
4. Subscription, devices and payment
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- A subscription covers two PCs, plus $5/month for each extra PC. Phones are unlimited.
- You may remove a device from the app at any time, which frees the slot.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Taxes are handled by the merchant of record.
- If a payment fails we may suspend access after a grace period.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. After that Eleos stops working until you subscribe again. Nothing of yours is deleted. Detail is in the refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Eleos to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack or disrupt our infrastructure, or attempt to circumvent licensing or device limits. Automated resale of access is prohibited.
7. What the software does on your computer
Eleos runs an AI agent that reads, writes and deletes files and executes commands on your machine, at your instruction. That is the purpose of the product, not a side effect.
You are responsible for what you ask it to do and for keeping backups. AI systems make mistakes and can act in ways you did not intend. Do not use Eleos on systems or data where an incorrect action would be unacceptable to you.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The relay and licence services may be interrupted for maintenance, by third-party outages, or by circumstances outside our control. Reaching your PC also requires it to be powered on and connected.
9. Warranties and liability
The software is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for non-payment after the grace period, or where required by law. You may stop using Eleos and cancel at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers before taking effect. Continuing to use Eleos after that means you accept the change.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
